We are looking for you to join our team as a Technical Services Operations Project Management Specialist based in Sunnyvale, CA. What you will get to do: Lead and direct one or more project teams in the professional services arena. Prepare project execution plans and coordinate activities between client and company personnel. Monitor project completion from initiation through delivery to meet revenue and cost projections. Oversee performance of projects or engagements and typically utilizes management skills more than technical skills. Provide technical and analytical guidance to project team(s). Working under an Operations Program Manager and with manufacturing operations functional management, you will be part of the team responsible for execution of the manufacturing scope of a multi-million dollar naval Launcher program. In this role, you will help guide and lead the manufacturing team by ensuring manufacturing issues and road blocks are resolved quickly, and that the manufacturing program(s) perform on time and on budget. You will be a key point of contact within manufacturing for the program. Responsibilities include the following: Resolve manufacturing issues by working with cross functional teams. Coordinate responses with functional organizations to keep projects on schedule. Propose, plan/baseline, and execute to performance management baseline. Perform risk and opportunity management functions for the manufacturing scope in concert with the overall program. Perform Earned Value Management and cost account management functions. Resolve material, manpower, and machine issues to ensure successful manufacturing performance.
