Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Project Change Engineer. This role may be in either Roy, UT, Huntsville, AL, or Colorado Springs, CO and will support the Sentinel program. Northrop Grumman supports the Air Force’s sustainment, development, production and deployment of hardware and system modifications for Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) Ground and Airborne Launch Control Systems, Launch Facilities, and associated infrastructure. The selected engineer will oversee the development, request, and implementation of changes to the Program and technical baseline with a focus on ensuring changes are well understood, documented, and executed through the Program approved Change Boards. The Project Change Engineer brings a “cradle to grave” solution for Program changes. Develop change request packages and represent the package through the change board process. Ensure change request package meets quality standards and is board ready. Coordinate comment follow-up, resolution, and approvals. Coordinate and provide input into impact assessments. Coordinate resolution and closeout of board action items. Interface with Configuration Management when submitting change requests and finalize change requests after board approval. Ensure approved change requests are implemented prior to change request closure. Follow through to ensure change requests are closed timely.
