Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking to hire a Command and Launch (C&L) Systems Engineering and Integration (SE&I) Communications Outside Plant (COSP) Integrated Node Manager 2 in support of the Sentinel program. This leadership role will be located in Huntsville, AL. As Lead of the C&L SE&I COSP Integrated Node team, you will be responsible for leading systems engineering execution as the main focal point for C&L product team systems engineering integration into the Launch Center. You will manage day to day operations of the COSP Integrated Node team, overseeing development of the C&L physical architecture, use cases, requirements, performance analysis, verification architecture model, and presentation materials for Weapon System and C&L Working Groups. Responsibilities include leading requirements development, verification activities, OPSCON and use cases, C&L architecture, and analysis model development using Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools and methods. You will coordinate with program and product teams, manage operational aspects, and serve as liaison among program management, planning, systems engineering, product teams, field engineering, logistics, and deployment engineering. The role involves ensuring all C&L products are integrated electrically, mechanically, thermally, HEMP-shielded, radiation hardened to perform the C&L mission. You will present at milestone reviews including Critical Design Reviews (CDRs) and Functional Configuration Audits, coordinate design solutions, lead trade studies, manage project progress, and act as primary contact for project activities. The position requires close teamwork across disciplines in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in STEM with 6 years related experience, leadership experience, verification planning, MBSE experience, requirement development and management, US citizenship with active DoD Secret Clearance, and ability to obtain Sentinel SAP clearance. Preferred qualifications include experience with Sentinel facility design, ICBM programs, Earned Value Management, certification activities, leadership skills, Agile development, DoDAF standards, and extensive MBSE and DOORS experience. The position offers a 9/80 work schedule and relocation assistance may be available.
