Northrop Grumman Defense Systems sector is seeking a Principal Military Trainer – Exercise Support Planner to join our growing team of diverse professionals at Fort Leavenworth, in Kansas. The selected candidate will join our Mission Command Training Program (MCTP), which trains Army Corps, Divisions, and Brigades in the Army Mission Command Systems and Operations Process. The Principal Military Trainer leverages specialized expertise in planning and executing some or all phases of military training exercises, including doctrinal development, scenario development, and after-action review (AAR) and analysis. Duties & Responsibilities: Acts as primary Exercise Support Division (ESD) Exercise Support Planner (ESP) and provide guidance to the Principal Military Exercise Planner Ensure timely writing, publishing, and delivery of Exercise Life Cycle Event contract deliverables (CDRL) while retaining highest quality by the team Understands and able to provide guidance on the Exercise Support Manning and Equipment Document (ESMED) Manager Ensure the manning requirements for the Exercise Planning Travel Management System (EPTMS) are met Maintain habitual relationship with other Operations Groups Analysts and POCs Serves as the ESP/Assistant ESP in Simulation Control Plan (SCP) and coordinates with the SCP Lead in the development of CDRLs Work with other Divisions within the Headquarters Support Team (HST) to develop room builds and determine equipment and personnel needs for each exercise Manage the movement of all HST contractors supporting an exercise to include synchronizing travel, lodging, and transportation dates.
