The Sr Bill of Materials Specialist's primary function is ensuring a consistent Bills of Materials (BOM), Product Configurations and production and sales order cost.  Responsible for having a high level of interaction across all departments to ensure the completion of the bill of materials in a timely, efficient, and detailed manner

Responsibilities

• Audit and validate sales order and Product orders cost estimate.

• Conduct regular audits and reviews of BOMs to identify discrepancies, inconsistences or error, working with cross functional teams to ensure a corrective action plan.

• Work closely with Production control to audit production orders variances, root cause and action plan.

• Support annual cost roll up activities.

•  Provide information required for Productivity analysis (actual vs outlook).

• Maintain version control of BOMs to track changes, revisions, and updates

• Responsible to maintain work and cost center in SAP.

• Develop metrics to measure the team’s progress and success at deliver on commitments

• Head-up ERP technical issue resolution related to manufacturing process cost.

• Gather relevant information that affects Supply Chain issues

• Working with the New Product Development, Manufacturing, and Supply Planning teams to synthesize data into a clear NPI ramp plan.

• Manage the margin analyst by product family, customers and sales order.

• Coordinate the communication of project status to appropriate senior management team

• Leading or participating in cross functional teams

Required skills and qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or related field

• Prior experience in BOM’s management – Process engineer, Industrial Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer, SAP specialist or related

• Exceptional skills in leadership, time management, facilitation, and organization

• Detail-oriented role that requires the ability to think critically, and problem solve through cross-functional collaboration to maintain accurate cost, margin, inventory accuracy, etc.

• Strong communication skills for collaborating with team members and other departments.

• SAP ERP system (mandatory)  / PLM Windchill (desirable)

• 30-40% Travel required – Valid Visa en Passport (required)
