We are seeking a detail-oriented and innovative IT Product Manager to oversee the development and management of our Selection Application Tool Set. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality digital products that enhance user experience. Johnson Controls Selection Tool Set includes a number of applications to assist in the estimating and configuration of Johnson Controls HVAC, Building Controls, and Fire Detection Systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end product management lifecycle for our Selection Application Tool Set.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and marketing, to define product vision and roadmap.
- Gather and prioritize product requirements through stakeholder interviews, user feedback, and market research.
- Develop user stories and acceptance criteria to guide product development.
- Monitor product performance and gather user feedback to continuously improve functionality and user experience.
- Ensure products are delivered on time and within budget while meeting quality standards.
- Communicate product status and updates to stakeholders and senior management.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to keep the product competitive.
- Work with Stakeholders on Fiscal Year Planning including IT investments.
- Own the creation of Capital Appropriation Requests, Approvals and Communication
- Assist Stakeholders in building out Business cases to secure IT advancement investments.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Product Manager in the IT sector, preferably with Sales and or Configure Price and Quoting Applications.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile environments.
- Excellent analytical skills with a problem-solving mindset.
- Excellent written and oral, English communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello) and product analytics tools.
