Citibank, N.A. seeks an Applications Development Senior Manager for its New York, NY location. Duties: Build out a large-scale electronic trading platform and portfolio management system. Work on the full project lifecycle, including business user engagement, requirement analysis, resource planning, architecture design, and implementation. Work across multiple Applications Development areas to assist with technical oversight across systems and applications. Analyze proposed technical solutions for projects. Contribute to formulation of strategies for applications development and other functional areas. Develop comprehensive knowledge of how areas of business integrate to accomplish business goals. Ensure essential procedures are followed and contribute to defining standards negotiating with external parties when necessary. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite in accordance with Citi policies and protocols. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, and six (6) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or in a related IT occupation formulating strategies for application development within the financial services industry. Six (6) years of experience must include: Designing and developing a large-scale distributed data processing platform using Core Java, Sprint Boot, Gemfire, Flink, Tibco EMS, and Solace; Utilizing C# and web technologies including Angular and NodeJS to build financial application user interface; Designing and developing low latency financial applications supporting multiple asset class business using Core Java, message bus, distributed cache, RDBMS, and big data framework; Utilizing CI/CD toolchain and containerization technology to deploy and maintain applications in cross-region data centers to achieve high availability and scalability; Utilizing full Software Development Lifecycle to analyze, design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality software; and Performing end-to-end system architecture design and coordinating projects using Microsoft Visio, Confluence, Jira, Bitbucket, ServiceNow, and Agile methodologies. 40 hrs./wk.
