The Agile Project Manager will be part of the Credit Risk Technology Team under Wholesale Lending Banking Technology (WLBT). The Wholesale Lending Credit Risk (WLCR) program is a multi-year strategy that will transform the front-to-back service model for Credit Risk for our global Wholesale Loans portfolio. Building a single ecosystem that fully supports the wholesale loans lifecycle, meets the demand of the business and satisfies regulatory obligations. Specifically, this project management role involves partnering with key internal stakeholders to drive our agile maturity that will underpin our ability to successfully execute and deliver the target state architecture. Responsibilities: Promote a culture of continuous improvement by implementing agile good practices to maximize business value with a focus on client’s business need, prioritization and identifying optimal paths to meet our objectives. Partner with engineering team to establish standard agile toolsets with best practice configuration and coordinate rollout across technology delivery teams. Partner with group program and project managers to develop project level sprint plans, schedules, squad alignment and a capacity management framework. Ensure standardization of agile ceremonies and scrum of scrums. Define and measure team’s success using KPIs/OKRs. Assess sprint health and progress (Churn, Work Complete, etc.) and sprint metrics trending. Define sprint status reporting with measurable and specific performance indicators (Burndown Chart, Velocity, Technical Debt, Frequency of Code Deployment, code coverage for Automating Testing, etc.) Drive coordination and collaboration across internal squads, coordinate and address external dependencies. Provide an additional layer of expertise to development teams / squads on details of project execution throughout planning, execution and delivery. Identify risks and issues with impact analysis, develop action plans and address/escalate as appropriate in a timely manner. Drive working group sessions with stakeholders, providing thought leadership where required to keep activities on track and strategy aligned. Record minutes/actions and seeing through to resolution. Provide regular, clear, and concise project updates and reporting across all levels of the organization adjusting your communication style and methods accordingly (verbal & written). Experience driving large scale technology Integrations via SDLC with an understanding on the mechanics and supporting frameworks required to transform complex, fractured, legacy systems within a large organization over time, with a tactical vs strategic mindset Competencies: Experience working in a global, dynamic environment Proven change management and influencing skills, obtaining buy-in for change Ability to create and deliver polished presentations to stakeholders of all levels up to and including senior executives Excellent planning & organization skills with close attention to detail Be a pro-active, flexible team player with robust problem-solving skills Results driven that can creates executable path and drive meaningful outcomes Intermediate to advanced use of MS Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, JIRA, Confluence Strategic thinker with proven ability to operationalize strategy, innovate and manage change Qualifications: 7+ years of experience in Project Management in a Financial Services or equivalent preferred Experience with process reengineering and process documentation on large scale programs with the ability to understand and interpret technical requirements and architectural/system diagrams Experience with platform implementations and integrations across Technology and/or Operations Experience in the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), Agile and Waterfall project practices Strong business domain knowledge across Credit Risk and/or Wholesale Lending (Loans) business Project Management certification preferred Education: Bachelors or Equivalent experience Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. (Citi will not sponsor applicants for U.S. work authorization for this position). Position is based in Irving, TX, Candidate must be located within commuting distance or be willing to relocate to the area.
